Amrita Naraine – Systems Thinker & Regeneration Advocate (India)

Photo portrait of Amrita

“I believe youth shouldn't just be invited to the table - we should help redesign it.”

Amrita is a researcher, linguist, and sustainability strategist with a passion for “open-source English” - her way of making ecological thinking accessible across cultures. She blends systems innovation with a deep love for nature, drawing inspiration from banana trees and backyard ecosystems.

Through her work on regenerative business models and inclusive climate action, Amrita creates space for youth-led dialogue and transformation. Her message is clear: regeneration starts from within, and every loop - whether in language, design, or life -matters.

🌿 Amrita’s tips for circular living

  1. Grow something – even a single herb. It humbles you and teaches regeneration firsthand.
  2. Rethink ‘new’ – repair, swap, or thrift instead of buying new. Make it cool to care where things come from and where they go!
  3. Design like nature – nothing wasted, everything repurposed. Whether you’re building a pitch deck, a prototype, or a playlist, ask, “Is this part of a loop or a dead end?”
  4. Show your habits – visibility creates change. Be the post, the story, the movement. What we normalise, we multiply!

Amrita is part of the"#OurVoiceOurFuture" community, a global network of young changemakers and content creators, ensuring that EU policies are inclusive, relevant, and aligned with the aspirations of the younger generation.

The community of #OurVoiceOurFuture young allies collaborate on shared principles and interests, contributing their voices to crucial areas such as defending Human Rights, security, peace building, and global and climate diplomacy.
